About the doctor

Dr. Nicol Giandomenico, ND, MSAOM, LAc

Dr. Nicki is a board certified, licensed Naturopathic Physician in the state of Washington, and is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of Colorado. She is also a licensed acupuncturist in the both Colorado and Washington, and is certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She completed both her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, completing her Chinese Medicine program in Shanghai, China.

A true believer in the healing power of nature, and the wisdom of the soul, Dr. Nicki believes these are the true healers of the body. She specializes in Lyme disease, complex chronic illness, mold, autoimmune disease, neurodegenerative disease, digestive issues and endocrine imbalances as well as corrective exercise, stress management, diet and lifestyle modification, and healing emotional trauma. Her teachers in the realm of Shamanic, intuitive and energy healing are many and she incorporates these healing modalities into her practice when necessary. 

Dr. Nicki has a background in Biochemistry and was a PhD candidate in Molecular Genetics but left before defending her dissertation to pursue Naturopathic Medical School. She is trained in German Biological Medicine which includes neural therapy, frequency medicine such as light, laser and sound therapies, ozone therapy and other advanced IV therapeutics and attends medical conferences all over the world. She studied Autonomic Response Testing under Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt MD, PhD and uses ART as a primary diagnostic tool in her practice. She continued to study under Dr. Klinghardt for almost 4 years before making the move back to the mountains to open Wind River Natural Medicine and Healing Center in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
